Chastity Wilson, JD, LLM, CPA, vice chair of the American Institute of CPAs’ (AICPA) Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Advocacy & Relations Committee, will testify on Wednesday, September 13, at a hearing of the House Ways and Means Oversight Subcommittee on “IRS Reform: Resolving Taxpayer Disputes.”

The hearing is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. ET in Room 1100 of Longworth House Office Building in Washington, D.C. It will focus on the taxpayer perspective and ways the IRS can resolve taxpayer disputes in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Wilson, who is principal partner in charge of the national tax office of CliftonLarsonAllen LLP, will focus her testimony on recommendations to improve the independence and efficiency of the dispute resolution process. She will also offer suggestions to help ensure that the IRS understands the taxpayer perspective and delivers “customer-focused” service.
