Baker Newman Noyes launches Family Wealth Matters newsletter

Boston, Mass., Portland, Maine and Manchester, N.H. (January 27, 2014) – In uncertain economic times, families face a number of challenges. Whether it is tax complexities related to increasingly globalized assets or issues related to retiring seniors and transfer of wealth, families are looking for resources to stay ahead of changing legislation and to take advantage of opportunities. To address this need, Baker Newman Noyes recently launched a newsletter for attorneys, investment advisors and financial planning professionals who work with high-wealth clients.

"Serving individuals and families is what we do. Our client base typically has a team of advisors and our practice collaborates with them to provide seamless and comprehensive client service," said Tax Principal Jean McDevitt, at Baker Newman Noyes. "As our clients' needs continue to grow and become more sophisticated – which we have seen across all our markets in Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire – we see a demand for this distinct content. Our goal in launching this new publication is to further enhance our teamwork approach and to bring added value to our professional colleagues and clients," explains McDevitt.

Family Wealth Matters will be delivered three times a year and will touch on areas such as income tax, transfer tax and related planning trends and developments. The topics will be appropriate for individuals and fiduciaries. The first issue can be found here. To subscribe send your contact information to This email address is being protected from spambots.
